December Photos- Part 3/ Temple Square

For family night on Monday, Maddie and I, along with Grandma and Grandpa Reading, took the Trax Train downtown to see the lights on Temple Square. Since Jeff works down there, he met us outside of his office building.Maddie likes trains, so I thought that she'd be excited to ride one. It didn't really phase her and she was not too happy about having to sit on my lap. She cried until Grandpa let her sit on his lap. Good thing for me and all the other passengers that he was there!
Maddie has a blast running around. Though she wasn't too fond of her harness.

They placed the Manger in the pools of reflection this year. It was truly beautiful!

Mads and with Grandpa and Grandma

The temple looked amazing!

Bet you can't tell that she didn't want to be held can you?

Good thing for the harness, or she would have dove in on the spot.

I love seeing the beautful lights on Temple Square. I wish it could have been a little warmer, but what can I really expect in a Utah December right? I can't believe the effort that must go in to doing these lights every year. Big trees, small trees. They are all lit up. It's amazing! I'm so glad we have this place of beauty so close to home.
