A Happy Halloween!!!

We started Halloween early this year. Grandpa and Grandma Reading had their annual Halloween party for the Grand kids on Friday night. Maddie was a pirate for Halloween this year. At least for Friday night anyway ;-) When Mads saw her cousin Parker in his Thomas the Tank Engine costume, she got really upset. She REALLY wanted it! She wouldn't quit crying about it until they all changed out of their costumes for dinner. So as you can tell, she's not quite happy in the cousins picture. In fact, I had to hide behind them to even get her to stay in there with them.



So on Saturday morning we got a visit from Grandma. She sure knows the way to this little girls heart, because she bought her a Thomas costume on close out at the store. Maddie was so happy. She wore it ALL day. We tried to take it off of her for dinner, but she screamed the whole way through dinner. So needless to say, for Halloween night, she was Thomas the Tank Engine.

We went to our Neighborhood Trunk or Treat. Those things are awesome!!! You get the whole neighborhood without having to walk door to door and spend all night doing it. We were there only about 40 minutes and she was probably done trick or treating in under 1/2 hour.
Maddie's little friend Ayden came over with his mom and Dad and went to the trunk or treat with us. They had a lot of fun!!! Maddie wanted to stop every couple of cars and check out her treat bucket. This kid is a candy-O-holic!!! She had Candy on the brain the whole time and was really mad when we made her keep going without eating any. Finally we broke down and gave her a sucker to keep her happy.







Here's my little munchkin last Halloween. I can't believe how much she's grown up!!!
