Today my little B is 5 months old! I'm not really sure where the time has gone, because it certainly doesn't seem like it's been almost 1/2 a year since she joined our family.
She is such a good and happy little lady. It has been so much fun having a little baby in the home again!
She can now grab things. She's especially good at pulling hair. She can reach for you when she wants to be picked up. She knows her name and looks at you when called. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to pitch a fit to get it.
She in now in size 2 diapers and in 6 to 9 month clothes! I know, SHES HUGE!
She's our little chubby one out of the 3 of them. At her 4 month well child check she weighed in at 14.9 oz (90th % )and 25 inches (95th%). She's a big little thing considering she was 3 weeks early and a runt!
We started her on some baby solids this last week. She has loved all the veggies she has tried so far and we haven't found one that she doesn't like yet. She also likes to eat her toes.
She loves to be outside and she also loves to walk Maddie to school every day.
She naps decently and is still taking about 4 to 5 small naps a day.
She isn't quite sleeping through the night. She usually wakes up around 3:30 to 4:00 am to have a bottle, then she goes back to sleep until 6:30 and she's up for the day.
She loves her big sister and brother. She even gets excited to see pictures of them around the house. It's adorable.
She isn't a fan of being put down to play. she's also no fan of the Jumperoo like Max was. She prefers to just be carried around. My muscles are getting really big ;-)
she had her first bout of the stomach flu last month and even that couldn't take the smile from her face. She is currently fighting her second cold.
She loves her binky and her favorite is her soothie paci with a little kitty attached to it. We call it her wubba. Well, most of us do. Jeff is still refusing... lol!
She gives the bestest kisses and cuddles EVER! Even if they are completely open mouthed and a bit slobbery. I just love when she attacks your face out of sheer excitement. She melts me.
Her eyes are still Blue. I'm just watching and waiting for them to go brown like the rest of us. I'm secretly hoping she will stay blue. It would be fun to have something different to mix it up a bit :)
Her hair lightens up by the day. She went from almost black to brown to blond roots and brown ends. I'm predicting by 1 she will be a blondie like the other two kiddos.
Overall she's been pretty healthy and has only visited the Dr for a rash once so far.
She is our little princess and we couldn't imagine our family without her.
